Mimika, Central Papua – In an effort to support the growth and development of Papuan children to be healthy, smart, and happy, personnel from the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Damai Cartenz 2025, stationed in Mimika Regency, carried out a social action by distributing boxed milk to children at various points in the city of Mimika on Monday (3/1).
This activity was led by Kombes Pol. Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., the Head of Public Relations Task Force of Operation Damai Cartenz 2025, who expressed appreciation for this initiative. According to him, this activity not only demonstrates the presence of the police in carrying out their security duties but also reflects social concern for the community, especially Papuan children.
“We want to ensure that Papuan children receive the proper attention, including in terms of nutrition and education. The future of Papua is in their hands, so they must grow healthy, smart, and happy,” said Kombes Pol. Yusuf Sutejo.
Brigadier Yoga Yandika, one of the police officers involved in the activity, also delivered a message of peace to the children. He encouraged them to always maintain unity, avoid negative influences, and study hard to achieve a better future.
The children and local community enthusiastically welcomed this activity. Their cheerful faces were evident as they received the milk while chatting with the police officers present. Similar activities are planned to continue to be promoted by the police as a form of care and a humanistic approach to the Papuan community.
Through this activity, it is hoped that the relationship between security forces and the community can be strengthened and that the nutritional needs of Papuan children can be met so that they can grow and develop well, ready to face a bright future.
