Mimika, Central Papua – In an effort to support the growth and development of Papuan children to be healthy, smart, and happy, personnel from the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Damai Cartenz 2025, stationed in Mimika Regency, held a social action by distributing boxed milk to children they encountered at various points in the city of Mimika on Monday (3/1).
This activity is part of the police personnel’s concern for ensuring proper nutrition for the next generation. During this event, Brigadier Yoga Yandika took the initiative to distribute milk while directly interacting with children and the local community to strengthen relationships and foster a sense of family.
The Head of Public Relations Task Force of Operation Damai Cartenz 2025, Kombes Pol. Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., praised the initiative as a tangible expression of the police’s presence, not only in carrying out security duties but also showing social concern for the community, especially Papuan children.
“We want to ensure that Papuan children receive the proper attention, including in terms of nutrition and education. The future of Papua is in their hands, so they must grow healthy, smart, and happy. This activity is our expression of care as part of the Papuan community, not just as officers on duty,” said Kombes Pol. Yusuf Sutejo.
In addition to distributing milk, Brigadier Yoga also conveyed a message of peace to the children, encouraging them to always maintain unity, avoid negative influences, and study diligently to achieve a better future.
This initiative was warmly welcomed by the children and the surrounding community. With cheerful faces, they received the milk while chatting with the police officers present. Similar activities are planned to continue as a form of care and a humanistic approach to the Papuan community.
