As part of efforts to strengthen relationships with the community and create a safe and peaceful environment, personnel from the Ops Damai Cartenz Public Relations Task Force, Bripda Adhar, carried out a humanitarian interaction with Papua’s mothers in Yalimo, Papua, on Thursday (30/1/2025).
This activity aimed to foster closeness, listen to the aspirations of the community, and build mutual trust between security forces and local residents.
The Head of the Ops Damai Cartenz Public Relations Task Force, Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., emphasized that direct engagement with the community, especially with Papua’s mothers, plays a crucial role in maintaining peace.
“Papua’s mothers have a significant role in fostering harmony within society. Through this interaction, we want to hear their hopes and input regarding maintaining security in their environment,” he said.
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Bripda Adhar engaged in a humanitarian approach with the local community, particularly Papua’s mothers. The mothers welcomed this initiative, feeling more acknowledged and appreciated by the police force.
Beyond fostering good communication, the Ops Damai Cartenz personnel also encouraged the community to maintain peace and avoid potential conflicts that could harm everyone. The Papua mothers committed to being agents of peace by teaching values of tolerance and unity within their families and surroundings.
Through this initiative, it is hoped that the bond between the police and the community will grow stronger, fostering mutual trust in maintaining a stable and secure environment in Papua. This synergy is a concrete step towards realizing a peaceful, safe, and prosperous Papua for all its people.
