Mimika– In an effort to support the health and development of children in Papua, personnel from Ops Damai Cartenz-2025 in Mimika Regency, Central Papua, conducted a social action event for children. This initiative took place on Tuesday (28/1) at several locations, including Cenderawasih Street, SP2, and SP3, during the afternoon when children were actively playing and engaging in activities.
This initiative stems from a deep concern for the nutritional needs of Papuan children, ensuring they grow up healthy, intelligent, and with strong immune systems. Briptu Yoga Yandika and Bripda Annisa Mahardika also interacted with the children and local community, introducing themselves and fostering a sense of familial connection.
Beyond distributing aid, they also shared messages of peace and encouragement, urging children to live in harmony, stay away from negative influences, and remain enthusiastic in their education to achieve a brighter future.
The Head of the Public Relations Task Force for Ops Damai Cartenz-2025, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, emphasized that this activity reflects the personnel’s commitment to the younger generation in Papua. He stated that this humanitarian initiative is one of the ways the police contribute to improving the well-being of Papuan children.
“We recognize that children are the hope of the nation. That’s why we strive to always be present and make a positive impact on them. Through sharing, we hope to help Papuan children grow healthier, smarter, and more enthusiastic about facing the future,” he said.
Through this initiative, it is hoped that the spirit of solidarity and care for Papuan children will continue to thrive, alongside efforts to create a peaceful and harmonious environment in the region.
