Mimika – Amid their duties in Papua, personnel of Ops Damai Cartenz-2025 stationed in Mimika Regency, Central Papua, took the time to share joy with local children. On Tuesday (28/1), they extended their kindness to children they encountered playing and engaging in activities at several locations, including Cenderawasih Street, SP2, and SP3 in Mimika Regency.
This social initiative reflects a deep concern for the well-being of Papuan children, ensuring they grow up healthy and intelligent. Briptu Yoga Yandika and Bripda Annisa Mahardika also interacted with the children and local community, introducing themselves and fostering a sense of kinship throughout their assignment in the area.
Before parting ways, they conveyed messages of peace, encouraging the children to live in harmony, avoid negative influences, and remain diligent in their studies to achieve a brighter future.
The Head of the Public Relations Task Force for Ops Damai Cartenz-2025, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, emphasized that this initiative is a tangible expression of the police force’s care for Papua’s younger generation. He hopes that through this humanitarian effort, children can receive additional nutritional benefits and feel the presence of law enforcement as an integral part of their community.
“We understand that children are the future of our nation. That’s why every activity we undertake is aimed at making a positive impact on them. Through this act of kindness, we hope to help them grow healthier, smarter, and more enthusiastic about facing the future,” he said.
Through this initiative, it is hoped that the bond between the police and the community will strengthen, fostering a more harmonious and compassionate environment in Papua.
