Yalimo- A meaningful moment of togetherness took place in Elelim District, Yalimo Regency, Papua Highlands, as Wakaops Damai Cartenz 2025, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, invited local children to always be grateful for the blessings given by Almighty God. This heartfelt occasion occurred during a communal prayer before lunch on Tuesday (January 28, 2025).
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga emphasized the importance of gratitude in everyday life. He reminded the children that gratitude is not only about the food on the table but also about health, knowledge, and the opportunity to continue growing into better individuals.
“We all receive blessings from God every day. That is why we must learn to always be grateful, both in times of happiness and difficulty. By being grateful, we will appreciate life more and become better individuals,” he said to the children, who listened attentively.
This activity is part of the efforts of the Damai Cartenz 2025 Task Force to strengthen relationships with the community, especially the younger generation in Papua Highlands. Through a compassionate approach, it is hoped that the values of kindness instilled will serve as a valuable foundation for the children as they navigate their future lives.
