Yalimo, Papua- Deputy Chief of Peace Operations Cartenz-2025, Kombes Pol Adarma Sinaga, gave a new color to Yalimo Regency by getting closer to local children. This activity took place at the Yalimo Police Headquarters, Elelim District, Thursday (25/01), and brought an atmosphere full of happiness and new hope for the younger generation.
Kombes Adarma was seen chatting with the children, introducing educational shows through electronic devices that were lent to them. The children enthusiastically crowded around the gadgets, enjoying an unusual moment of togetherness with a police officer.
In this warm atmosphere, Kombes Adarma delivered a deep message to the children, instilling moral values and great hopes for the future. “You are the future of Papua and Indonesia. Study hard so you can achieve your dreams and become a source of pride for your family, nation, and country,” he said enthusiastically.
This activity is in line with the spirit of the Cartenz Peace Operation which prioritizes a humanist approach. Kombes Adarma emphasized the importance of building trust with the community through real actions that support the growth and education of Papuan children. “We want the children to feel our presence not only as security guards, but also as friends and supporters in their life journey,” he added.
The atmosphere became even more cheerful when one of the children with a beaming face expressed his desire to become a police officer like Kombes Adarma. This is proof that the humanist approach applied is able to inspire the young generation of Papua.
The Cartenz Peace Operation-2025 does not only focus on the security aspect, but also on building harmonious relations with the community. Through activities like this, it is hoped that a strong bond will be created between the security forces and the Papuan community, so that trust in the government will be stronger.
Kombes Adarma ended the activity with a prayer, asking that Papuan children have a bright future and become a proud next generation. This great hope is one of the foundations in efforts to create a peaceful and prosperous Papua.
