Jayapura, Indonesia – Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., the Deputy Chief of Papua Regional Police (Wakapolda Papua), led a Public Relations Division assembly at the Papua Police Headquarters in Jayapura on Wednesday (January 8, 2025).
The assembly was attended by the Head of Public Relations, Senior Commissioner Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo, S.H., S.I.K., M.Kom., along with key personnel such as Kompol Nurjanah and AKP Zahiri, as well as the entire Public Relations team.
In his remarks, Brigadier General Faizal emphasized the importance of holding regular assemblies every Wednesday, stating that these gatherings are crucial for strengthening relationships and improving mutual understanding among officers.
“If any issues arise, I encourage team members to address them directly with me,” he said.
As the Head of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General Faizal highlighted the increasing significance of the Public Relations Division as a key function within the police force. He urged personnel to adapt to technological advancements and understand the competencies required for their roles.
“Public Relations demands specialized skills. Officers must possess both capacity and capability,” he explained.
He also underscored the necessity of strong writing skills for Public Relations officers, advising them to enhance these abilities by reading extensively.
“Personal growth requires determination. With motivation and hard work, success is within reach,” he concluded.
The assembly served as a critical reminder of the responsibilities of the Public Relations Division, inspiring its personnel to enhance their professionalism and adapt to the evolving demands of modern policing and public communication.
