Papua- One member of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) on the wanted list (DPO) was arrested by the authorities.
He was arrested in connection with the murder case of Sertu La Afyudin, Task Force Mandala IV Pos Ilu, Puncak Jaya, Central Papua.
The KKB member who was arrested was named Kamenak Gire from the Yamoneri Region group.
He is a DPO Puncak Jaya Police with number DPO/S-34/10/XI/2024/Reskrim.
Kamenak Gire was arrested during a sweeping activity by Post Task Force 715/MTL Yambi Post Personnel on Sunday (15/12/2024) at around 19.00 WIT.
The alleged perpetrator has been handed over by Post Task Force 715/MTL personnel to the Puncak Jaya Police to undergo legal proceedings.
Kamenak Gire is currently undergoing legal proceedings at the Puncak Jaya Police.
Apart from that, the authorities are also asking for information from 6 members of the public.
