Jayapura- The 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections have been carried out, this activity is an important moment for all Indonesian citizens, especially in Sarmi district.
Therefore, Yustan Ruben Sumake, S.Th as pastor of the Pujian Pentecostal Church, invites all elements of society to maintain unity and peace after the 2024 regional elections.
“Several stages of the 2024 regional elections have been passed, and voting has been completed. “Now we are all still waiting for the vote from the Papua Province KPU,” said Rev. Yustan.
He revealed that community participation in the Pilkada is a form of responsibility as an Indonesian citizen as well as setting an example for others. He also appealed to the public to remain calm and wait for the official vote recapitulation results from the Papua Province KPU.
“Let’s work together to maintain the conduciveness of the Papua region, especially in Sarmi Regency and wait for the final results of the 2024 regional elections with full maturity,” he said.

Rev. Yustan also gave his highest appreciation to the security forces, especially the TNI-Polri, who have worked hard in maintaining security and social order in Sarmi Regency, starting from the election stages until the Regency plenary, which ran safely and under control.
