Timika – Kamoro Tribe Community Leader, Timika Regency, Mr. Marianus Magnaiteku, gave great appreciation to the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operations Task Force for its success in maintaining security in the Papua region this year.
In his statement in Timika on Wednesday (5/12/2024), Marianus expressed his pride in being a concrete manifestation of the state’s commitment to creating a sense of security for all Indonesian people, especially in the Land of Papua.
“As a Papuan figure, I hope that this December can create an atmosphere of peace, and I hope that all forms of violence can be stopped so that people can live their lives safely and peacefully,” said Marianus.
He said that the Cartenz Peace Task Force was a concrete manifestation of the state’s commitment to creating a sense of security for all Indonesian people, especially in the Land of Papua.
“I personally support that the Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force will continue in the coming year with the same assignment time within one year, from January to December,” he continued.
At another time, Head of the Cartenz 2024 Peace Ops Public Relations Task Force, Police Commissioner. Dr. Bayu Suseno also said that this service really means a lot to all of us at Ops Peace Cartenz 2024, we will continue to be committed to making Papua safer, more conducive and more optimistic about looking towards sustainable development.
“We also want to convey our sincere prayers to all the Papuan people who have helped the Cartenz 2024 Peace Task Force in our daily work. “Hopefully every step and drop of sweat that has been shed, and every sacrifice given, will receive a fitting reward from God Almighty,” concluded Police Commissioner Bayu.
