Jayapura – The Cartenz-2024 Peace Operation Task Force successfully captured a Puncak Jaya KKB named Oni Enumbi alias Mamberamo alias Bumiwalo. This arrest was made in the Warung Biru area, in front of the Puncak Jaya Police, Mulia City, on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 11.15 WIT.
Head of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operation, Brigadier General Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., confirmed that Oni Enumbi is a Puncak Jaya KKB under the leadership of Ternus Enumbi.
“KKB Oni Enumbi alias Mamberamo alias Bumiwalo is a Puncak Jaya KKB led by Ternus Enumbi. Oni Enumbi was arrested by our team in the Warung Biru area in front of the Puncak Jaya Police, Mulia City, today, Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 11.15 WIT,” explained Brigadier General Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani.
Meanwhile, Head of Public Relations for the Cartenz-2024 Peaceful Operations Task Force, Senior Commissioner Pol. Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H., added that Oni Enumbi was on the Puncak Jaya Police Wanted List (DPO). He was involved in the shooting and killing of Elang Task Force personnel on March 17, 2024 in Kulirik Village, Muara District, Puncak Jaya Regency.
“Oni Enumbi’s arrest was carried out based on DPO/S-34/04/IV/2024/Reskrim dated April 25, 2024 and police report number LP/A/03/III/2024/Res Puncak Jaya/Polda Papua, related to the shooting and murder of Elang Task Force personnel,” said Senior Commissioner of Police Dr. Bayu Suseno.
Currently, Oni Enumbi has been secured at the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force Post in Puncak Jaya. The investigation team is still conducting intensive examinations to explore his role in various criminal acts that he has committed in Puncak Regency.
