Moment of Regional Election, Regional Police Invites Papuan People to Maintain Unity and Unity

Jayapura- In order to create safe, peaceful and cool conditions ahead of the 2024 regional elections, the Papua Regional Police held an Interfaith Prayer in Jayapura City, Papua.

This event was attended by the Papua Regional Police Chief, Inspector General of Police Patrige R. Renwarin, Deputy Papua Police Chief, Brigadier General of Police Faizal Ramadhani, Main Papua Police Officials, religious figures, religious organizations, Bhayangkari and dozens of children’s orphanages.

In his remarks, the Deputy Chief of Papua Regional Police, Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani, said that this activity was not just a routine ceremonial event, but rather a real form of togetherness and unity with various religious, ethnic and cultural backgrounds united in prayer for the success of the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada in the land of Papua.

“Through this activity, I really hope that we can instill the values ​​of harmony, tolerance and strong cooperation among all of us in welcoming the 2024 regional elections,” he hoped.

Furthermore, the Deputy Chief of Regional Police said that the National Police as protectors, protectors and servants of the community have a big duty and responsibility in ensuring that the entire regional election process runs safely, peacefully and orderly without any divisions and conflicts.

“I want to emphasize to all members of the Papua Regional Police to always uphold professionalism, integrity and neutrality in carrying out their duties,” he said.

In line with that, Inspector General Pol Patrige R. Renwarin also invited everyone from the ranks of the Papua Regional Police as well as religious leaders, traditional leaders to all elements of society to work together in maintaining peace and security stability in Papua.

“We all ensure that we have a very important role in making this regional election a democratic process that truly brings benefits to society,” stressed the Regional Police Chief.

Apart from that, the former reminded all levels of society to maintain unity and unity.

“Don’t let differences in political views become an excuse to divide the spirit of unity and unity that has been well-developed in Papua. “Through this interfaith prayer, we hope to be able to maintain unity and harmony until all stages of the regional elections are completed,” he asked.

At the end of the event, the Regional Police Chief gave compassion to the orphanage children who were present. This is a form of attention and concern from the Papuan Police towards children.
