Papua- Tolikara Regency Youth and Traditional Leader, Karmin Jikwa appealed and invited all Tolikara people to maintain calm and peace ahead of the Simultaneous Regional Elections on November 27 2024.
Karmin should not be provoked by rumors that are floating around and could cause divisions and war between tribes and the Tolikara Regency region, as a result of the implementation of Simultaneous Regional Elections.
“Whoever the leader of Tolikara is, we must fully support who is elected in the regional elections,” said Karmin.
Karmin also appealed to the public not to be provoked about the KKB anniversary on December 1 2024, so that the Tolikara area remains safe and there is no raising of the Morning Star flag.
“Tolikara is safe and peaceful, and Papua is part of the Republic of Indonesia,” concluded Karmin.
