Papua- Just counting the days, the 2024 regional elections will be held simultaneously in Indonesia.
With the time approaching, Central Papuan Community Leader, Thomas Sondegau invites all parties to participate in making the 2024 regional elections a success.
It is known that according to the schedule set by the KPU, the voting process will fall on November 27 2024.
Thomas said that the 2024 regional elections in Central Papua must run safely.
“There cannot be victims just for the sake of certain interests, this must not happen,” said Thomas.
In holding a democratic party, people are also welcome to vote according to their own choices.
“Different choices are normal, but our unity and integrity must not be broken, because the Pilkada is just a democratic celebration, so it must be enjoyed with joy,” stressed Thomas.
Thomas said that the community must also prove that Central Papua is mature in politics, especially in terms of making choices.
“For that reason, let’s all make this Pilkada a success peacefully,” he said.
Apart from that, Thomas also invited the public not to abstain from voting during the upcoming elections.
“To the community, we all share our voting rights according to our respective consciences, so that this regional election can run safely, peacefully and successfully,” he concluded.
