Dogiyai – The Chief of the Dogiyai Regency Tribe, Isak Tebay, emphasized the importance of maintaining security stability ahead of the simultaneous Regional Elections to be held on November 27, 2024. In his statement, he appealed to the people of Dogiyai Regency to play an active role in creating a safe and conducive atmosphere during the entire Pilkada process.
“We call on all people of Dogiyai Regency to jointly maintain security and peace, so that the Pilkada can run smoothly and peacefully until the vote counting process is complete,” said Isak Tebay.
Isak emphasized that all elements of society, including traditional leaders, religious leaders, and youth, must play an active role in maintaining a conducive situation. He hopes that all stages of the Pilkada can take place in an orderly manner, so that the results can produce leaders who are trustworthy and able to bring progress to the community.
“Active participation from the community is very important to create security and comfort in our region. We all have a responsibility to maintain peace during the Pilkada,” added Isak Tebay.
On that occasion, Isak also reminded the public to be careful of information that cannot be verified. The spread of fake news can trigger tension and worsen the situation in society.
“We must be wiser in accepting and filtering information. Don’t be easily provoked by news that is not clear about its truth, especially news that can divide society,” he said.
Isak Tebay emphasized that collaboration between the community, security forces, and community leaders is very important to maintain security during the Pilkada. This joint commitment is expected to ensure that all stages of the Pilkada in Dogiyai Regency run successfully, peacefully, and produce leaders who bring positive change.
“With our togetherness and commitment, the 2024 Pilkada in Dogiyai Regency will run peacefully and smoothly, and we can choose leaders who can bring progress to society,” concluded Isak Tebay.
