Jayapura, November 15, 2024– In the spirit of Blessed Friday, members of the Policewomen from the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operations Public Relations Task Force, Police Brigadier Ita Sombo Allo and Police Brigadier Giswayu Putri Aulia, held an activity to share packages for children in Jayapura City, especially in the Angkasa and Pasir 2 areas.
This activity aims to provide attention and happiness to Papuan children who are the next generation of the nation.
When asked for information, Police Brigadier Ita Sombo Allo, accompanied by Police Brigadier Giswayu Putri Aulia, said that this activity was a form of concern and affection from the Police for Papuan children.
“We are holding this Blessed Friday activity to share love with the children of Papua. They are very happy when they feel served and cared for by members of the Police,” said Brigpol Ita with emotion.
Head of Public Relations Task Force for the Cartenz-2024 Peaceful Operation, Senior Commissioner Dr. Bayu Suseno, also gave his response. He said that the presence of the Cartenz-2024 Peaceful Operation Task Force in Papua is not only to maintain security, but also to provide comfort for the community, especially the younger generation of Papua.
“The Blessed Friday which is manifested through the provision of gifts to these children is a form of the Police’s concern for the golden generation of Papua,” explained Senior Commissioner Bayu.
He also added that the attention given to Papuan children is expected to foster self-confidence and enthusiasm in them.
“When these children are served well, in the future they will grow into great leaders in the Land of Papua,” he concluded.
