All Papuans should use their voting rights wisely. Don’t abstain, this can determine Papua for the next five years. This was conveyed by the Head of the National Leadership Council of Papuan Indigenous Youth (DPN PAP) Christian Yan Arebo at his residence on Thursday, 11/14/24.
As good citizens, of course we are all part of a better change for Papua in the future. In this regional election, let’s work together to maintain peace and order, he said.
He further said, Don’t let differences in choice divide us, because we are all one big family who want progress for our region, so it is only right that we are responsible for the implementation of a safe and peaceful regional election.
He also invited all Papuans to use their voting rights properly, and not to be influenced to become the Golput group or not vote.
“I would like to invite all Papuans to use their voting rights wisely. Do not abstain, because your one vote means a lot to our common future. Choose a leader who truly fights for the interests of the people, a leader who cares about the progress and welfare of Papua,” he added.
Christian also reminded that this regional election is not only about choosing a leader, but also about choosing a better future for our generation and our children and grandchildren.
“Let’s keep Papua peaceful and united in every election process. We all play a role in creating a more just, prosperous, and peaceful Papua,” he said.
