Head of the Jayawijaya Regency Red and White Brigade, Hengky Haselo, reminded all people in Jayawijaya Regency to maintain security stability ahead of the simultaneous Regional Elections to be held on November 27, 2024. In his statement, Hengky emphasized the importance of collaboration between the community and security forces to create a peaceful and conducive atmosphere throughout the Regional Election process.
“We appeal to all Jayawijaya people to jointly maintain security and peace, so that the Regional Election process can take place in an orderly and safe manner,” said Hengky Haselo.
Hengky also emphasized that the Jayawijaya Regency Red and White Brigade is fully committed to supporting the smooth and peaceful implementation of the Regional Elections. He hopes that all stages of the Regional Elections can be carried out properly and produce leaders who can bring progress to the community.
“The community must play an active role in maintaining security, because the success of the Regional Elections is not only determined by the apparatus, but also by the awareness of all of us to maintain a conducive situation,” continued Hengky.
Hengky also reminded the public to be more careful about information that is not clear. He emphasized that the spread of irresponsible news can trigger divisions and conflicts that are detrimental to all parties.
“We must avoid unclear information, especially if it can provoke and cause tension. We must be wise in filtering the information that is circulating,” he said.
According to Hengky, good collaboration between the community, security forces, and various other elements of society is very much needed to maintain the security and smooth running of the Pilkada. With this cooperation, he hopes that the 2024 Pilkada can create the right leader to advance Jayawijaya Regency and have a positive impact on society.
“This Pilkada is a big moment for all of us. Let’s work together to maintain security and ensure that its implementation runs peacefully,” concluded Hengky Haselo.
