Jayapura- Chairman of the Lapago Traditional Region, Agus Rawa Kogoya, hopes to play a role in providing security in the Land of Papua.
“If Papua is safe and peaceful, everything can be done comfortably. “So let’s maintain security for the comfort of all parties,” he said.
Agus also hopes that the community can take part in helping the Papua Regional Police maintain the security and social security situation. “The police cannot work alone, the community must have an important role,” he said.
In this political year, Agus asked the entire community to make the implementation of the simultaneous regional elections 27 November 2024 a success. “Different choices are possible, don’t turn those differences into hostility,” he hoped.
According to Agus, people must be wise in using social media in the digital era. This is intended to avoid misunderstandings that could cause chaos between groups and supporters.
“Watch your fingers, now we can create a situation of insecurity through posts that lead to division. “So, be wise in responding to issues on social media,” he advised.
On that occasion, Agus also expressed his gratitude to the police officers who have worked day and night to keep the community safe and comfortable.
“Improving performance. “Give the best to society, then God will repay the policeman’s kindness all this time,” he asked.
