Jayapura- The regional elections are only a few days away, one of the Papuan youth leaders appealed to all people in the province to come to the voting booth or polling place (TPS) to express their right to vote according to their conscience.
This was conveyed by Jackob Alberth Pangkali, as the founding initiator of the youth organization which will be launched in the near future in Jayapura City, Papua.
“In the context of the regional elections on November 27 2024, I invite all Papuan people to exercise their right to vote properly and correctly,” he exclaimed.
He also asked the people on the eastern horizon not to be included in the white group or abstain from exercising their political rights.
The reason, he said, was that this would affect the future of Papua in general.
“Remember that one voice determines the direction of development for the next five years so that Papua moves towards change for the better,” he said.
This youth figure, who has experience in the mining sector, emphasized that by coming to the polling station, the community had indirectly supported and succeeded in one of the national agendas being held simultaneously.
“For this reason, let’s go to the polling stations on voting day. Share your right to vote, don’t abstain. Let’s determine a better future by conveying your right to vote,” he asked again.
