Jayapura, October 24, 2024- The website creation training organized by the Papua Police in collaboration with the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) officially ended on October 23, 2024 with satisfactory results. The five-day activity, which began on October 17, 2024, aims to equip Papuan youth, especially in Jayapura City, with website creation skills to prepare them to face challenges in the digital era.
AKP Sosra Antoni, AMd. Han., as the head of the speaker from the Papua Police, emphasized the importance of this training to support the development of Papuan youth in keeping up with technological advances.
“Papua needs creative youth to build its future. We hope that this training can equip participants with knowledge that they can use to contribute to Papua’s development in various sectors,” he said.
He also emphasized the importance of competition in the world of modern technology. “If we do not follow technological developments, we will be left further behind. Therefore, we hope that Papuan youth can rise, compete, and create new innovations that are beneficial for Papua’s development,” he added.
One of the training instructors, Brigpol Reinaldy Nata Rianto, stated that the readiness of Papuan youth in facing technological developments is very important.
“This training provides an opportunity for young people to learn and compete at the national and international levels. With the knowledge they gain, they can be more confident in facing the increasingly competitive digital world,” he explained.
The Chief Executive of PYCH, Yuni Randongkir, also appreciated the Papua Police’s initiative in holding this training. “We hope that the knowledge gained during this training can help young people in Jayapura City increase their productivity and achievements in the digital era. Hopefully this will be a big first step for the development of technology in Papua,” he said.
This training has succeeded in attracting the interest of young people from Jayapura City who enthusiastically participated in the entire series of activities.
