Jayapura- Deputy Chief of Papua Regional Police, Brigadier General Pol. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., held a joint audience with the Indonesian National Police Commissioner in order to monitor developments in the current situation regarding the 2024 Pilkada at the Cenderawasih Hall of the Papua Regional Police.
In a series, the Deputy Chief of Papua Regional Police, Brigadier General Pol. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., said Welcome back to the Kompolnas Team in Papua, greetings from the Papua Police Chief who was unable to attend due to activities in Jakarta. We will discuss security regarding the 2024 Regional Elections.
“Part of the operational activities have been carried out and troops have been deployed to several areas. We hope that we can explain the Papua problem, including security patterns and activities carried out by the Papua Regional Police, as well as the obstacles we face. “Hopefully Kompolnas can convey these things to top level leaders in Jakarta,” explained Brigadier General Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani.
Member of the Indonesian National Police Commissioner, Mrs. Poengky Indarti, S.H., L.L.M., emphasized, We are working together with security forces and various related parties to ensure that the implementation of the Pilkada runs smoothly and in accordance with applicable regulations.
“I hope that the implementation of the regional elections can run peacefully, with all elements of society and security forces united for the smooth running of the democratic process in Papua,” said the Deputy Chief of Papua Regional Police.
