Jayapura- As a Papuan Youth Figure, Evekarias Yomilena expressed her utmost appreciation and gratitude to the Chief of Police, the Chief of Police, and even the entire TNI-Polri personnel in the release of Air Susi Pilot Philip Mark Merthens.
“Of course this has a very positive impact in enforcing the law and advancing human rights,” he said.
In addition, he also thanked all the Figures in Papua both Religious Figures, Women Figures, Youth Figures in their encouragement and efforts for the release of the hostages.
“With the release of the hostages without any casualties, it will have a positive impact on the builders in the Land of Papua and create a developed and peaceful Papua,” he noted.
He hoped that in the future the TNI-Polri would use more persuasive methods in maintaining peace in Papua Land so that there would be no casualties later.
“I hope with a more persuasive approach then the process of building Papua Land will be successfully realized,” he said.
Through the Papuan Youth Figure he was very appreciative about the liberation that the TNI-Polri managed to do without the violence.
In different places, Peace Ops Public Relations Officer Cartenz 2024, Col. Col. Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H illustrated that the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force (Task Force) has successfully conducted a “Soft Appoarch” without causing fatal casualties.
“We hope that with our efforts and the way of approach we are doing this can create a process of building a more advanced Papua together with the Papuan Society so that Papua can be a peaceful Land,” Bayu concluded.
