Biak, September 28, 2024 – Chairman of the Branch Leadership Council (DPC) of the Red and White Line of the Republic of Indonesia (BMP-RI) of Biak Numfor Regency, Frids Sem Arfayan, called for the importance of conducting peaceful elections in the face of the election of the District Head. will be titled on Nov. 27, 2024.
Arfayan affirmed that the responsibility of maintaining peace in the election belongs not only to the TNI and the Police, but also to all elements of society, including the organizers, participants, and residents of Biak Numfor County.
“Peaceful elections mean everything must go in order and peace. We must all agree to realize peaceful elections in Biak Numfor County,” he said.
On the occasion, Arfayan also expressed his support to the third couple of candidates for Regent and Deputy Regent who will fight in the upcoming election.
The third couple is:
- Pair number 01: Markus Octovianus Mansnembra – Jimmy Carter Kapissa
- Sequence number 02 pair: Herry Ario Naap – Kery Yarangga
- Pair number 03: Saint Benhur Mansnandifu – Yohan Anthon Kho
“I hope the community can exercise its franchise wisely. One vote can determine the future of Biak Numfor County five years down the road. Therefore, let us not get golput, but let us vote for the best for the future together,” he stressed.
Arfayan also conveyed a special message to the election participants to conduct the campaign in order and discipline.
“Congratulations campaigning to the third couple of candidates. May all collaborate deliver the best vision and mission for the welfare of the people of Biak Numfor County,” he said, ending with a respectful salute and independence salute.
With a shared commitment to maintaining safety, comfort, and peace, it is hoped that the 2024 Biak Numfor County Elections will proceed successfully without hindrance.
