Jayapura- The Health Sub-Task Force of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operation Assistance Task Force conducted a health patrol to provide medical services to personnel on duty at the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operation Task Force Post in Kiwirok District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
Head of Cartenz 2024 Peace Operation, Brigadier General Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., explained that this health service activity aims to ensure the fitness and health of personnel on duty in the Kiwirok area. This is important, considering the heavy task they carry out in protecting the community from the threat of Armed Criminal Groups (KKB).
“Health is the most important factor for every personnel in carrying out their duties. Therefore, regular health checks are very necessary to ensure that physical fitness is maintained,” said Brigadier General Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani.
Head of Public Relations Task Force for Ops Damai Cartenz 2024, Senior Commissioner Pol. Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H., also added that health services for personnel on duty in the operational area are a form of leadership attention to the health of soldiers. Good health conditions will ensure that they can carry out their duties optimally.
“With this health service, we hope that the health of the personnel will be maintained, so that they can carry out their duties well,” explained Senior Commissioner Pol. Dr. Bayu Suseno.
In this activity, the Health Team led by IPTU dr. Gaza Muhammad Anjartama conducted general health checks, including measuring blood pressure, body temperature, pulse rate, and oxygen saturation. Personnel were also given vitamin injections or oral vitamins to increase endurance.
In addition to health services, the team also handed over medicines and medical equipment to the Kiwirok Sector Action Task Force Medical Unit to support health tasks in the area.
This health patrol activity went smoothly and is expected to help the Cartenz-2024 Peace Task Force personnel in the Kiwirok District to continue to be in prime condition while carrying out security duties.
