Jayapura- Chairman of the Jayawijaya Tribe, Arius Wetipo, who lives in Keerom Regency, Papua, appreciated all his people, who had celebrated the 79th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, with great enthusiasm.
Arius asked for this kind of attitude of togetherness and unity to continue to be maintained and safeguarded to strengthen unity and integrity within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
“I saw the moment on August 17 yesterday, it was extraordinary. “This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the community, they are enthusiastic about carrying out what we all want,” he said.
“Once again, thank you very much for the unity and unity of society that has been maintained all this time,” he continued.
Apart from appreciating the moment of the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day which was held safely and successfully, Arius reminded the public to participate in making the democratic party a success, namely the 2024 simultaneous regional elections, which will be held next November.
“Let’s make the Papua Governor Election and the Keerom Regent Election a success. “This is a party for all of us, so we have to make it a success and carry it out according to the applicable regulations,” he asked.
Furthermore, Arius also appealed to the people of Jayawijaya Regency, who live in Keerom Regency, not to be provoked by outside parties to broadcast the laws in this country.
“Let’s think wisely and intelligently. We must remain calm, do not follow the misguided invitations from any party. We focus on working to bring our respective children and wives back to life. “Because if not us, who else,” he exclaimed.
“I also ask that we all work together to maintain security and social order, especially in Keerom Regency, because of our position in the RI-PNG border area, so let us work together to create an even better Keerom,” he concluded.
