Jayapura- Gerson Y. Hassor as the Traditional Leader of Port Numbay invites all the people of the Land of the Rising Sun in Port Numbay to work together to protect this city with a sense of peace, Thursday (15/08/2024).
“Let’s maintain peace and protect Jayapura City and don’t cause trouble in our country,” said Gerson.
Furthermore, he also invited Mari to respect each other’s rights of land owners/city of Jayapura because the people here live together to advance Jayapura City peacefully and realize the prosperity of Numbay Harbor,
“Don’t let us destroy the fabric of this city again because it will have an impact on society in general, hampering the wheels of government and our children who are still carrying out educational activities,” he said.
Gerson hopes that people will not be provoked and will not feel excessive anxiety or fear, and will continue to carry out their activities as usual.
“We can hand over things that conflict with peace to the authorities so that everything can be resolved safely and conducively,” he explained.
“Going forward, we will together welcome Indonesia’s independence day on August 17 2024 and the holding of regional elections in Papua. “For this reason, let us maintain our peace and prosperity on the land of Port Numbay,” he added.
