Timika, Papua – The Cartenz 2024 Peace Operation Task Force is holding physical and self-defense tests for its personnel. The activity was carried out at the Mimika Police Headquarters Apel field on Tuesday (30/07/2024). This aimed to maintain and improve the physical abilities and self-defense techniques of the Task Force personnel.
The physical opportunity test includes a 1200 meter run, Pull ups, Sit ups, Push ups and Shuttle run. Meanwhile, the self-defense test includes basic self-defense techniques such as punches, kicks, blocks and locks.
“This activity is part of the Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force personnel development program to maintain preparedness and professionalism in carrying out their duties,” said Head of the Cartenz Peace Operations 2024 Public Relations Task Force, Police Commissioner. Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H. when met on the sidelines of activities.
Head of the Cartenz 2024 Peace Operations Public Relations Task Force added that this test also aims to minimize risks and potential dangers that may occur when working in the field. “Personnel who have good physical abilities and self-defense techniques will be better prepared to face various situations and conditions in the field,” he said.
All personnel from the Cartenz Peace Operations Public Relations Task Force took the test with enthusiasm and discipline. They show high dedication and professionalism in carrying out their duties.
Police Commissioner. Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H. also said that the Cartenz 2024 Peace Operation Public Relations Task Force would continue to strive to improve the capabilities of its personnel through various training and coaching. “We hope that by increasing personnel capabilities, the Cartenz 2024 Peace Operation Public Relations Task Force can be more effective in carrying out its duties,” he concluded.
