Kiwirok, Friday 5 July 2024 – In commemoration of the 78th Bhayangkara Day, the Cartenz 2024 Peace Operation Task Force, Kwirok Post together with the Kwirok Police, Bintang Mountains Police, carried out social service in the Kiwirok District, Bintang Mountains Regency.
Social service is carried out with the aim of helping children in the learning process to educate the nation’s children in remote areas of Papua. The handover of stationery, school clothes and sports equipment was carried out at the Kiwirok District Village Hall and then distributed to the Head of Kiwirok Village on behalf of the government.
Apart from that, this social service activity aims to provide a sense of security to the people of Kiwirok District with the presence of the National Police in the area.
Commander of the Bintang Mountains Sector for the 2024 Cartnez Peace Operation Iptu Muhammad Kasim Lating, S.Trk., said that this social service activity aims to provide a sense of security to the people of the Bintang Mountains Regency, especially the Kiwirok District, in commemoration of the 78th Bhayangkara Day, July 1 2024.
“We are grateful to God Almighty because of the blessings that God has given to us. The National Police Family, until today we commemorate the 78th Bhayangkara Day. The social service that we carry out in the Kiwirok District, apart from educating our nation’s children, also aims to be present and provide a sense of security for people in Kiwirok District,” said Inspector Muhammad Kasim Lating, S.Trk.
Elsewhere, Head of the Cartenz 2024 Peace Operation Public Relations Task Force, Police Commissioner. DR. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H., explained that the presence of Cartenz Peace Ops in Papua, apart from its task of suppressing armed criminal groups, also provides services to the Papuan people to support the National Police’s Precision program towards a Golden Indonesia.
“Our job is to provide a sense of security for all Papuan people and take action against armed criminal groups that threaten public security.
“Apart from that, we carry out social activities to help the community, especially Papuan children, to educate the nation’s children, as per the National Police’s Precision Program towards a golden Indonesia,” explained Commissioner Bayu.
The 78th Bhayangkara Day was celebrated simultaneously on July 1 2024 in the jurisdiction of the Bintang Mountains Police Station safely and was enlivened by the TNI-Polri and the community in the Bintang Mountains Regency Area.
