Jayapura – Active and inclusive collaboration between all traditional leaders and the Papuan people is the key to success for the government in being able to completely eradicate the existence of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB).
Papuan community figure, Yonas Alfons Nusy, believes that the entire separatist movement, including the spread of terror or violence, atrocities and barbarism carried out by the KKB, is not a struggle or in the context of fighting for the rights of citizens as they claim. In fact, their criminal actions seriously tarnish, even tarnish human rights (HAM).
The reason is, this group commits acts of violence and continues to try to spread lies or hoax news as well as various forms of provocation to the public so that they will become sympathizers of the separatist movement and support them.
The traditional figure of Kampung Sereh (Ondofolo), Yanto Eluay, very firmly stated that he strongly rejects the existence of the KKB, including all forms of activities that are contrary to the government and the Republic of Indonesia.
If you look at history, the KKB was actually a Dutch-made group whose aim was to carry out propaganda and pit the Papuan people against the government and the Republic of Indonesia. The main aim of the Dutch at that time in making propaganda through the KKB was because with a divided society, it would be easier for them to control the territory and exploit all the natural resources there.
Meanwhile, Ondofolo Atamali, Septinus Ibo invited the entire community, including the young generation to succeed the nation in Bumi Cenderawasih, to always do positive things, so that they are not easily consumed by doctrine and propaganda from parties at odds with the Republic of Indonesia.
The collaboration of various parties and cross-sector elements such as traditional leaders, community leaders, religious leaders and indigenous Papuan civilians is very important to jointly succeed in the efforts of the government and security forces to completely eradicate the separatist gangs that are enemies of the country. With this achievement, peace in Papua can continue to be maintained.
