Jayapura (29/06/2024) – Head of Operations (Ka Ops) Damai Cartenz Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H, who is known as one of the dedicated and experienced leaders in the Papua Operations area, has finally received proper recognition for his contributions.
During his 6 months at the helm of ODC2024, Brig. Gen. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani has managed to carve out outstanding achievements in carrying out his duties, here is a series of achievements of Brig. Gen. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani:
- February 18, 2024, Arresting Alenus Tabuni, a member of the KKB led by Numbuk Tenggelan in Puncak Regency.
- February 20, 2024, the arrest of Epson Nirigi, a supplier of weapons and ammunition to the KKB led by Egianus Kogoya.
- February 22, 2024, paralyzing Otniel Giban, a member of the KKB led by Yotam Bugianggr who shot down the plane in Yahukimo.
- March 2, 2024, arresting Jukius Tabuni, a KKB member who was the perpetrator of the seizure of firearms in Puncak Regency.
- April 4, 2024, Law Enforcement against KKB Gusby Waker network by paralyzing 2 of its members, namely: Abubakar Kogoya and Demianus Magay in Tembagapura District, Mimika Regency.
- April 8, 2024, Arresting Bui Wonda, the perpetrator of the attack on the Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force Post in Sugapa, who is a member of the Undius Kogoya Leadership KKB in Intanjaya District.
- April 11, 2024, paralyzing Toni Wetapo, a member of the KKB led by Yotam Bugiangge in Kali Brasa Timika.
- April 11, 2024, Successfully paralyzed 1 KKB member led by Yotam Bugiangge on behalf of Afrika Heluka, the perpetrator of the attack on the Polres, Dandim and Trigana Airplane.
- May 4, 2024, Evacuation of KKB Shooting Victims in Homeyo District, Intan Jaya Regency.
- May 11, 2024, the arrest of the perpetrator of the shooting of Danramil Aradide on behalf of Anan Nawipa KKB member codap XII Kegepa Nipouda.
- May 17, 2024, Arrest of Petrus Pekei, leader of Dokoge-Paniai KKB.
- May 19, 2024, arrest of Lupa Waker, KKB member of Puncak Regency who burned heavy equipment owned by PT Unggul.
- May 21, 2024, Successfully paralyzed the aide of KKB leader Undius Kogoya, and confiscated 1 assembled firearm, 1 magazine, 1 telescope and 3 cellphones. In Paniai.
- June 03, 2024, Arrested 3 gangs of gun dealers in Jayapura.
- June 17, 2024, Crackdown on KKB Group. Undius Kogoya’s group successfully paralyzed 2 KKB members and occupied KKB headquarters in Bibida Paniai District.
- June 16, 2024, Construction of a Bridge for Residents in Bibida District, Paniai Regency.
- June 28, 2024, Series of social services in Keerom, Bintang Mountains, Kiwirok, Jayapura and others.
Because of his brilliant achievements, Faizal Ramadhani was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General of Police from his previous rank of Police Commissioner.
As the Head of the Cartenz Peace Ops Public Relations Task Force, AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H, when confirmed explained that currently the Head of ODC Operations has officially been promoted to Brigadier General of Police and currently the promotion ceremony has been completed at the Police Headquarters.
“Yes, it is true, we are proud to announce that the Head of Cartenz Peace Operations, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H, has officially held the rank of one star. This is a tangible manifestation of his achievements and success in maintaining security and order in the Papua region has made a major contribution to public safety and stability in Papua.” Bayu said
Bayu further explained about Kaops’ performance for more than 6 years while serving at the Papua Police.
“In addition, Brig. Gen. Faizal Ramadhani is also known to have innovations such as the Friday Blessing and Sunday Love Programs which are expected to help the local community. Faizal Ramadhani’s promotion is seen as a form of recognition for the dedication, hard work, and integrity he has shown over the years.” said AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H.
Finally, Bayu closed with a prayer and hope that Kaops ODC2024 will always be healthy and successful in carrying out his duties in Papua.
