The Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force and the TNI-Polri succeeded in shooting dead one KKB in the Bibida District, Paniai Regency when a firm and measured law enforcement operation was carried out against the Intan Jaya Armed Criminal Group (KKB) led by Undius Kogoya who carried out crimes in Paniai Regency.
Head of Peace Ops Cartenz-2024 Police Commissioner. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, in his statement, said that there was a firm and measurable law enforcement operation against the Intan Jaya KKB led by Undius Kogoya from Saturday 14 June 2024 to Monday 17 June 2024. This operation involved the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops joint apparatus consisting of TNI and Polri troops. has succeeded in shooting dead one KKB who is suspected to be the Intan Jaya KKB led by Undius Kogoya.
“We, from the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force, continue to pursue the KKB of the Undius Kogoya group who are actively carrying out attacks and criminal actions in Paniai Regency,” stressed the Head of Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops.
Meanwhile, Head of the Public Relations Task Force for OPS Damai Cartenz-2024, AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, when confirmed regarding the death of one KKB, said that as a result of the search carried out by the joint Ops Peace Cartenz-2024 and TNI-Polri officers around the KKB headquarters in Bibida District, Paniai, the joint forces had succeeded in finding a body which was suspected to be a KKB from Undius Kogoya KKB group.
“Yes, that’s right, currently our troops are still evacuating to remove the body which is suspected to be KKB,” said AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno.
AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, again added, the evidence found near the body which was suspected to be KKB was a machete about 80cm long.
“We plan to evacuate KKB’s body to Paniai Regional Hospital for further identification,” explained Bayu.
