Jayapura- In an effort to maintain security and order in their area, TNI – Polri personnel in Kab. Bintang Mountains carried out shooting training in Kabiding Village, Oksibil District, Friday 7 June 2024
The activity, which was attended by Kodim 1715 Yahukimo, ODC 2024 Task Force, and Pagunungan Bintang Police personnel, was led directly by Police Chief AKBP Moh. Dafi Bastomi, SH., SIK., MIK.,. This is done to maintain the capabilities of each personnel and as a precaution against potential security disturbances by Armed Criminal Groups (KKB) and Political Criminal Groups (KKP) as well as readiness to face emergency situations.
Bintang Mountains Police Chief, AKBP Moh. Dafi Bastomi, SH., SIK., MIK, stated that this activity was part of the TNI-POLRI’s commitment to providing maximum protection to the community. He also appealed to the public to remain calm and support the police’s efforts to maintain security in the Bintang Mountains Regency from armed criminal groups (KKB) and political criminal groups (KKP).
“Even though shooting training is carried out, the Bintang Mountains Police guarantees that this activity is carried out with strict safety standards in mind, so that it does not pose a risk to the surrounding community,” he said.
“It is hoped that with this activity, security in the Bintang Mountains area can continue to be maintained so that people feel safer and more peaceful in carrying out their daily activities and are prepared to face the 2024 regional elections,” he added.
The number one person at the Bintang Mountains Police also expressed his thanks to all personnel and the ODC 2024 Task Force who have provided support in carrying out this exercise.
“Thank you to the ODC 2024 Task Force for providing support to the Bintang Mountains Police Personnel in carrying out this exercise,” he concluded.
