Jayapura – Chair of the Community Early Awareness Forum (FKDM) Lucky Mahakena, S.Sos, M.Si supports the Security Apparatus, namely the Cartenz 2024 Peace Task Force, to carry out firm and measurable law enforcement against Armed Criminal Groups (KKB) in Papua, Saturday (01/06).
According to Lucky, every action that the KKB takes does not represent the Papuan people, in fact what they do is very detrimental to the community and detrimental to development in the region.
“Many civilians have become victims as a result of the actions of the KKB and many developments such as government offices and schools have been burned down by the KKB. Things like this cannot be tolerated, so we support the security forces in taking firm and measurable action against this group,” said Lucky.
Furthermore, Lucky revealed that the steps taken by security forces in conflict areas were good.
“The routine patrols carried out by the Cartenz Peace Task Force personnel in the mountainous areas provide a sense of security for the community because the KKB cannot carry out its actions freely,” he added.
Lucky also invited all parties to work together to maintain the security situation in their respective areas and not be easily influenced by information whose truth is not yet known.
“Let’s work together to maintain the security situation so that it remains safe and conducive to realizing a safe and peaceful Papua,” he concluded
