Jayapura- On the occasion of the birth of Pancasila, Kaleb Woisiri, a Papuan figure from Waropen Regency, delivered a meaningful national message to the Papuan people. In his message, he emphasized the importance of Pancasila as the nation’s ideology and the highest law of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
Kaleb Woisiri underlined that Pancasila must be embedded in every national leader in every region in Indonesia, including leaders in Papua and Waropen. This applies to leaders in the bureaucracy, executive, legislative, judiciary, as well as traditional and religious institutions, and all levels of leadership in every organization. They must carry out the great mandate of Pancasila.
Kaleb Woisiri details the five principles of Pancasila as a guide for leaders:
1. Belief in the Almighty God
– Leaders are not only religious, but are also able to implement religious teachings in real practice in daily life.
2. Just and Civilized Humanity
– Leadership must be fair in every policy and have commendable manners and morals. This leadership also respects humans with all their body and soul.
3. Indonesian Unity
– Leadership that is present for all ethnicities, races, religions and groups without discrimination and racism.
4. People Led by Wisdom in Deliberation/Representation
– Representative leadership, full of wisdom, wisdom and deliberation to make Papua great.
5. Social Justice for All Indonesian People
– Fair leadership for all communities. Papua must be developed with awareness and sincerity without hatred and greed.
Kaleb Woisiri hopes that Pancasila will become an important momentum to develop Papua from all aspects. With the spirit of Pancasila, he invited all Papuan people to commit to maintaining the noble values of Pancasila for the welfare of all Indonesian people.
