Jayapura- The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) has acted again by shooting civilians in the name of Zainul (motorbike taxi driver) in Usir Village, Mulia District, Puncak Jaya Regency, Central Papua, on Thursday, May 30 2024.
Head of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Public Relations Task Force, AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, when confirmed, said, “It is true, there was shooting at civilians in the name of “Zainul” resulting in the victim’s death.
“We can say that the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Currently, the victim’s body has been taken to Mulia Hospital for medical treatment,” said AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno.
AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno added, from the results of the initial investigation, it was suspected that the perpetrator was KKB which consisted of two people, namely KKB Bumi Walo and KKB Rambo.
He continued, currently the Puncak Jaya Police and the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force are conducting an investigation regarding this incident.
