
Jayapura- Hengky Mambrasar, one of the parents of prospective students, on behalf of Jeremia Mandesaw Rumaropen, who took part in the National Police recruitment selection for FY 2024 for the Papua Regional Police, expressed his thanks to the National Police Chief, Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Si who has provided policies through the recruitment of 2,000 Polri members in the Papua Regional Police area.
This was expressed by him as Casis’s parent who was at the Jayapura City Police, Monday (20/5) afternoon in Jayapura.
Hengky said that the acceptance of two thousand Polri members in the Papua Regional Police region certainly opens up great opportunities for his children and other young Papuans because it prioritizes the specialties of Papuans.
“Thank you, National Police Chief, Police General Listyo Sigit, for his policy of accepting 2,000 National Police Non-Commissioned Officer students for the 2024 fiscal year,” he said.
He further said that the recruitment of two thousand students would continue for the next five years with a total recruitment of 10,000 Polri members for the Papua Regional Police region.
“We hope that through this opportunity, our children can join the National Police as members and extended family this year,” he hoped.
In the same place, Lau, nicknamed Jeremia, also conveyed the same words to the National Police Chief, saying that becoming a member of the National Police had been his dream since childhood.
“I aspire and have a strong desire to become a member of the National Police because the National Police are always there for the community, can always provide a sense of security and comfort in providing services to the community. “Dear Mr. Chief of Police, thank you for the great opportunity given to us Papuans, I hope we are worthy and can graduate to become members of the National Police,” he concluded.
