
Timika- Acceptance of 2,000 Papuan sons and daughters of the National Police has begun with ongoing selection at the Mimika Police and Papua Police., Saturday/18/05/2024.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Large Traditional Institution of the Amungme – Lemasa Tribe, Imanuel Jhon Magal, expressed his deep gratitude to the National Police Chief for receiving 2,000 National Police non-commissioned officers from Papuan sons and daughters.
“We would like to thank the National Police Chief for accepting 2,000 Papuan police non-commissioned officers,” said Imanuel Jhon Magal.
“We also ask the National Police Chief to open as wide an opportunity as possible for Papuan sons and daughters, especially those from the Amungme tribe, to enter the Republic of Indonesia Police Academy so they can become National Police leaders in the future,” he added.
These thanks and requests reflect the support and hopes of the Papuan people, especially the Amungme tribe, for the National Police’s efforts to empower and involve Papuan sons and daughters in police institutions, as well as encouraging them to play a bigger role in maintaining security and order in Indonesia.
