Mimika- In Timika, Central Papua, Friday, May 17 2024, a handover ceremony was held for the position of Commander of Battalion B Pioneer of the Papua Police Mobile Brigade Unit.
The event was attended by a number of key officials from the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operation, including, Police Commissioner Ronny Suseno, S.I.K., M.H., Deputy Head of Operations (Wakaops) Cartenz-2024 Peace, Police Commissioner Irfa Asrul Hanafi, S.I.K., Head of Operations Management (Kaminops ) Peace Cartenz-2024., Police Commissioner Angling Guntoro, S.I.K., Head of the Intelligence Task Force (Kasatgas Intelligence)., Police Commissioner I. G.G. Era Adhinata, S.I.K., Head of the Law Enforcement Task Force (Kasatgas Gakkum)., AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., Head of the Public Relations Task Force (Kasatgas Humas), and AKBP Robby Samban, S.I.K., Head of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operations Command Post (Kaposko).
During the ceremony, AKP Rosman L. Mansyur was appointed Commander of Battalion B Pioneer of the Papua Police Mobile Brigade Unit, replacing Kompol Dion VDP Helan who will undergo the 2024 Sespimmen Education. This ceremony was led by the Commander of the Papua Police Mobile Brigade Unit, Police Commissioner Budi Satrijo, S.I.K., M .Hum., which was carried out at the Field of Battalion B Pioneer of the Papua Police Mobile Brigade Unit, Jalan Agimuga Mile 32, Timika.
In his speech, Police Commissioner Budi Satrijo emphasized that mutations are part of the dynamics of the National Police organization which are carried out systematically, continuously and consistently. Transfers and shifts in places of assignment are a form of officer career development, which allows for refreshment or promotion in accordance with their performance and rank.
He also stated that the responsibility of the position is a mandate and trust that must be maintained and developed by new officials. The hope is that the process of coaching and improving performance that was started by our predecessors can be maintained and developed, to ensure sustainable organizational stability and dynamics. This is very important considering that 2024 is a political year that requires extra security for the post-conflict regional elections.
Police Commissioner Budi Satrijo added that the National Police, especially Brimob, prioritizes discipline, hierarchy, loyalty and trust. In general, the National Police continues to transform into an institution that is precise in organization, operations, public services and supervision.
On this occasion, he also expressed his appreciation and thanks to old officials for their dedication and service so far. He congratulated the new officers and was confident that with their experience, leadership and dedication, they would be able to carry out their duties successfully.
