Jayapura – Jack J. Puraro, M.Si, General Chairman of the Indonesian Republic’s Nusantara Youth Association of Papua (PPNP RI) and a Papua activist, shared his views on handling Armed Criminal Groups (KKB) in Papua. He stated that law enforcement efforts against KKB have been progressing well, as he expressed during an interview at his residence on Thursday (5/9).
Jack expressed his appreciation for Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih and the Papua Regional Police Chief, along with their teams, for their performance in maintaining a conducive situation in Papua. This is evidenced by the numerous arrests made against criminals and sympathizers associated with these groups.
“I highly appreciate Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih and the Papua Regional Police Chief and their teams for continuously maintaining a conducive situation until now,” he said.
Additionally, Jack Puraro encouraged the community to continue supporting government efforts and security forces in creating security and order in Papua. He emphasized the importance of unity and not being involved with groups that disrupt peace in Papua.
“Let us collaborate with the TNI-Polri forces if we encounter crimes or know of activities suspected to violate regulations, for the sake of continued security,” he added.
He hopes that the collaboration between the community and security forces will continue to improve, creating a safe and peaceful environment for all Papua residents. May God bless this collective effort for the good and peace of Papua.
