
Jayapura- The integrated RIM admissions process for Fiscal Year 2024 in Papua has attracted the attention of many bold applicants, reaching a total of 13,949 people. This was announced by Karo SDM Polda Papua, Kombes Pol. Sugandi, S.I.K., M.Hum, when met in the Diapers Subdivision Room of the Papua Police HR Bureau Secretariat.
According to Kombes Sugandi, the number of applicants includes various categories of pathways, from Cadet/I to Disability Rekpro Bintara. Of the total registrants, 9,411 people have been successfully verified by the authorities.
“Of the registrations we received, 9,411 of them have gone through the verification process. “They come from various pathways, with the majority of applicants from the PTU Non-Commissioned Officer pathway,” said Kombes Sugandi.
Commissioner Sugandi further explained that he reminded prospective National Police students not to be easily tempted by offers of selection brokers’ services who promised permission in exchange for money. He emphasized that the National Police recruitment process does not require fees.
“In this selection process, we are committed to maintaining process rigor and transparency. We also remind prospective students to stay enthusiastic, study hard, and not be pretended by brokers. “Entering the police is free,” he stressed.
The Papua Police Human Resources Department also provides encouragement to prospective students to remain enthusiastic and confident in themselves. He emphasized the importance of physical and mental preparation as well as tenacity in learning as the key to success in selection.
“With this strict and transparent selection process, we hope to produce qualified candidates for National Police, ready to carry out their duties with professionalism, and serve the community well,” he concluded.
