Jayapura- The body of Bripda Oktovianus Buara, a victim of compilation by an unknown person (OTK) in Yahukimo Regency, has been flown to Jayapura, Papua, Tuesday 16 April 2024.
Head of Public Relations of the Papua Regional Police, Police Commissioner Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo, said the funeral arrived at around 15.36 WIB using a Trigana Air IL 222 plane from Yahukimo.
The body was taken to the funeral home in Nafri Village, Abepura District, Jayapura City, Papua Province. It is planned that the body of Bripda Oktovianus Buara will be buried in Bonggo District, Sarmi Regency, Papua.
“The funeral is planned for tomorrow, namely Wednesday (17/04/2024) in Bonggo District, Sarmi Regency,” said Benny, Tuesday evening.
Previously, Bripda Oktovianus died after being attacked by an OTK not far from the Yahukimo Police Headquarters, Tuesday 16 April 2024 at 05.30 WIB. The police found stab wounds all over Bripda Oktovianus’ body.
In connection with this case, local police officers arrested three people around the scene of the incident. They each have the initials UH (18), ARH (19) and RW (21).
