Papua- Papua Regional Police Chief, Inspector General. Pol. Mathius D. Fakhiri, S.I.K., M.H., invited Saireri youth who are members of the Indonesian National Youth Committee (KNPI) to maintain the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia.
“As young people who are members of the KNPI, let’s protect the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia,” said the Regional Police Chief.
When meeting with KNPI administrators from five districts in Papua, the Papua Police Chief revealed that the role of youth is very important in maintaining national unity and integrity in framing the Republic of Indonesia.
“The integrity of the Republic of Indonesia and the eradication of corruption must always be upheld so that the various development programs implemented are right on target and felt by the community,” said the Papua Regional Police Chief.
Inspector General Fakhiri added that for this reason he is providing opportunities for all Papuan youth, that if there are youth who are interested in becoming members of the National Police, they should be prepared.
“The more Papuan youth serve the country, the stronger the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia will be,” he explained.
It is known that the quota for National Police recruitment specifically in Papua in 2024 will reach 2000.
The Papua Police Chief, who was accompanied by the Chair of the Papuan KNPI, Benyamin Gurik, explained that the recruitment of National Police NCOs was prioritized for native Papuan youth and those who were born and raised in Papua.
“If there is a family member of the KNPI management who wants to become a member of the National Police, please register and fulfill the specified requirements,” he concluded.
