Papua – The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) continues to carry out actions that disturb the people of Papua. The latest information regarding KKB activities can be found in trusted media. For example, in the past week, there was a stabbing carried out by the KKB Egianus Kogoya Group in Yahukimo and resulted in the death of two civilians.
The first incident was on April 30 with the victim named Jhonsep Salempang, male, 23 years old, working as a gallon water delivery driver around the Nop Goliat Dekai Airport Complex. Meanwhile, in the second incident, the victim was Yosep Pulung, male, 55 years old, working as an ASN Inspectorate for Yahukimo Regency in front of Dekai State Elementary School, Yahukimo.
The TNI-Polri security forces did not remain silent. Most recently, the firefight between the joint team consisting of the Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force, Amole Task Force and Nanggala Task Force, versus the KKB in the Kali Kabur area, Mile 69 Tembagapura, Mimika Regency, Central Papua last Thursday (4/4) resulted in two KKB, namely Abubakar Kogoya and Demianus Magay died. However, efforts to completely stop the KKB action require cooperation from all Papuan people.
The Papuan people must remain alert to the persuasion and propaganda spread by the KKB. This group does not represent the real Papuan people. The Papuan people are known for their friendliness, love of peace, and upholding the values of togetherness. The KKB seeks to divide the unity and integrity of Indonesian society with their violent actions.
Let’s fight this fight against each other together. If you see anything suspicious in your surroundings, immediately report it to the authorities. Work together with security forces to create a peaceful and prosperous Papua. A safe and conducive Papua will open up better development opportunities, so that they can be enjoyed by all Papuan people.
Remember, don’t be easily taken in by fake news or incitement spread by the KKB. They often use social media to spread misleading information. Look for information from trusted and credible sources.
United we stand, divided we fall. By working together, we can create a safe, peaceful and prosperous Papua.
