Aided by a tree branch as a support for the muzzle of his firearm, the man patiently waited as he was about to carry out his action.
While at the same time, he carefully listened to the movement of the four-wheeled vehicle used by the security apparatus in the patrol.
And, when the vehicle passed right in front of his eyes, the man who was a member of the Papuan KKB did not seem to want to waste the opportunity. He immediately spit out bullets.
At that time, someone was seen standing at the back of the vehicle, as if he had been shot. However, it cannot be confirmed, because the vehicle continued to drive on the unpaved road.
It is not known for certain where the incident occurred. It is also not known when the shooting incident by Papuan KKB members occurred.
However, from the viral video, after opening fire, members of the Armed Criminal Group immediately ran frantically to save themselves.
For your information, until now members of the Papuan KKB have never stopped carrying out their actions. They continued to attack TNI and Polri soldiers who were carrying out their duties in this turbulent area.
On Sunday 17 March 2024, for example, Papuan KKB members shot Marine Sergeant Ismunandar and resulted in the victim dying on the battlefield. At that time, Serka Salim was also injured but managed to fire back fire. This incident occurred in Puncak Regency.
Meanwhile, three days later, precisely Wednesday 20 March 2024, Papuan KKB members again attacked police officers on duty at Helipad 99 in Ndeotadi, Bayu Biru District, Paniai Regency.
In this sudden attack, two police officers were killed by gunfire. The firearms belonging to the two police officers were confiscated and then taken away by members of the Papuan KKB.
Until now, TNI Polri soldiers are still pursuing the perpetrators. They then ran for their lives and disappeared into the river which was not far from Helipad 99.
