Jayapura City,- Implementing Sahur and Tarawih Prayers for Muslims in Jayapura City, the Police together with their staff are ready to provide a sense of security and smooth implementation.
This was stated by the Jayapura City Police Chief, Commissioner Pol. Dr. Victor D. Mackbon, S.H., S.IK., M.H., M.Si to the media crew while attending the Ramadhan Safari with Acting. Mayor of Jayapura in Entrop, South Jayapura District.
The Chief of Police said that his party had paid attention to the ranks to ensure that the Sahur and Tarawih prayers for Muslims in Jayapura City went well.
“Of course, the National Police will also hold a Police Operation codenamed Ops Ketupat which will be held simultaneously throughout Indonesia, starting a week before Eid. For this reason, let’s continue to maintain tolerance towards our brothers and sisters who are carrying out fasting and Community Security Conduciveness in Jayapura City,” said the Police Chief.
The Chief of Police also expressed his gratitude to all residents of Jayapura City, who during the fasting moment yesterday faced with the Plenary Election stages in Jayapura City which still ran safely and smoothly.
Regarding anticipation of the homecoming flow ahead of Eid, the Police Chief said that later there, as is usually done, an Integrated Post will be established with a combination of related agencies coordinated by the Jayapura Port KSOP.
“For the establishment of security posts ahead of Eid in Jayapura City, of course we will carry out an assessment according to needs.
