Jayapura – President Jokowi has ordered the TNI Commander and National Police Chief to pursue, arrest and prosecute all members of the KKB or Armed Criminal Group in Papua.
“I instructed the TNI Commander and National Police Chief to continue to pursue and arrest all KKB members in Papua.”
President Jokowi’s order is now viral on social media. This instruction is related to the case of attacks by Papuan KKB members on TNI Polri soldiers and civilians which are still occurring in the area.
President Jokowi also emphasized that there is no place for Armed Criminal Groups or KKB either in Papua or throughout Indonesia.
Therefore, security forces have been ordered to continue pursuing criminals in the Land of Papua for prosecution according to applicable regulations.
For your information, until now the Papuan KKB has never stopped carrying out cruel actions in that area. They attacked security forces, civilians also burned public facilities built by the government.
One of the incidents that recently occurred was the shooting of TNI soldiers in Muara District, Puncak Regency.
Previously, this daily reported that on Sunday 17 March 2024, members of the Papuan KKB led by Kalenak Murib and Jerimayu Enembe carried out a sudden attack on two TNI soldiers who were driving in Puncak Regency.
