
Jayapura – In the midst of the ongoing General Election (Pemilu) and with the approaching holy month of Ramadan, Papuan figure Stanis Tanfa Chilong urges all residents to continue maintaining security and unity.
In his statement, Stanis emphasized the importance of maintaining calmness and unity amidst the current situation. “We all must be wise and not be provoked by irresponsible actions. Let us maintain a peaceful atmosphere and respect the ongoing democratic process,” he said.
Additionally, Stanis also reminded the community of the significance of Ramadan as a period filled with blessings and peace. Therefore, he stressed the need to preserve solidarity and tolerance among residents. “We must not allow political or religious differences to destroy our unity. It is better for us to focus on common good and preserve the integrity of the nation,” he added.
Stanis Tanfa also affirmed that any form of provocation and violent actions will not bring benefits to anyone. “We must reject all forms of provocation and demonstrate maturity in dealing with differences of opinion,” he stated.
He concluded his statement by urging all Papua residents to unite in maintaining peace and rejecting any form of provocation that may disrupt security and unity in the region.
The message of peace, solidarity, and rejection of provocation conveyed by Stanis Tanfa is expected to inspire the entire Papuan community to collectively uphold peace and unity, especially amid challenging circumstances like the present.
