Jayapura _ Melianus Asso, Chairman of the Papuan Regional Commissioner for Catholic Youth, appealed to all levels of Papuan society to maintain security and comfort in the Holy month of Ramadan in 2024.
Melianus Asso, when interviewed in Jayapura on Thursday 14 March 2024, said, as religious communities, of course we should uphold tolerance between religious communities by maintaining harmony, security and comfort.
“Soon, Muslims in Papua will carry out fasting in the holy month of Ramadan. As religious communities, of course we should maintain security and comfort,” he concluded.
The Chair of the Papua Province Catholic Youth again emphasized the importance of jointly maintaining Security and Community Security in the land of Papua.
